Fall in love with trains. Again.

Train Lovers' Day is designed by train lovers for train lovers. This year, we'll celebrate the “unsung heroes” of the railroad, little-known rail equipment that worked alongside the big locomotives, but received none of the glory.

Reduced admission! ($5 per person. Kids three and under admitted free.)

FREE Train Rides provided by the Roanoke Chapter of the National Railway Historic Society.

Craft Station so kids can make valentines for their favorite train lovers. Model train displays. And more!

The equipment showcased on Train Lovers’ Day will be:

• Norfolk & Western Safety Car 418
• Alco C630 Number 1135
• Celanese Fireless Cooker
• Boxley Whitcomb Industrial Switcher
• Virginia Central Porter

You can learn the important role each played in freight operations in years past. (Don't worry. We make learning fun!)

Join us! You'll fall in love with trains. Again.
