Roanoke Festival in the Park, Inc. and Bank of America present Festival 2013!

 
 

Beginning on Friday, May 24, 2013, and continuing through Monday, May 27, 2013, Roanoke Festival in the Park, Inc. and Bank of America present Festival 2013!

     

Festival 2013 will be held at the River's Edge Sports Complex in Downtown Roanoke, and will include amazing concerts, vendors, and all of the fun you remember from years past!

Festival 2013 is free and open to the public during the daytime activities (from 11am to 5pm). Activities will including a Children's Area with inflatables, games, and story-telling fun! Everyone's favorite Fine Arts and Crafts Show will be returning and begins Saturday, May 25th with winners announced on Sunday, May 26th. Numerous community organizations will be involved, including The Roanoke Chess Club, the Roanoke Valley Mustang Club, the Roanoke Valley Antique Car Club, and a motorcycle show! American Electric Power’s 5K and 10K race will return, beginning at 8 am on Sat., May 26.

Parking Information

Parking for this year's event is located at the Carilion Clinic Parking Garage, on Reserve Avenue, directly across from the Festival grounds, courtesy of Carilion Clinic. To enter the garage, come down either Franklin Road or Jefferson Street and turn onto Reserve Avenue. You will be directed into the garage parking via signs and attendants.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the shows will be available for presale at Bank of America branches in the Roanoke Valley and online on April 22nd. Tickets are $13 in advance per person per night, $15 at the gate per person per night, and a four pack of tickets for $50. Children under 8 are admitted free of charge to the nightly concerts.

VIP Experience

This year's event will include a special VIP Experience ticket option. Reserved for only 100 guests per night, you can get your ticket for $60 per person per night. The VIP Experience will include:

  • A private gathering area with other VIPs
  • Catered food and beverages
  • Stage-front access
  • A Meet and Greet with the band
