It’s that time again . . . time to show your pride in downtown Roanoke.  In the City T-Shirt Day is right around the corner!  On June 20, 2008 we encourage everyone to wear a one-of-a-kind T-Shirt designed by High Peak Sportswear.  This is a great way to start the summer season and show your support for our wonderful city.  Our shirt this year will be printed on a white beefy-T and features a sketch artist drawing various landmarks found only in downtown Roanoke.  A poster depicting the design will be on display throughout the downtown area, or stop by the DRI office, located at 213 Market Street, for a preview.  (See attached design)

This year all orders must be submitted to Downtown Roanoke Incorporated by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2nd to insure that we are able to get the T-Shirts ready for pick-up on Monday, June 16th.  Customized orders with business name and logo can be printed on the back of the t-shirt for an additional charge per shirt (see attached form).  Please request your orders on the following form and return it to Downtown Roanoke, Incorporated with payment.  We hope that everyone who works in the downtown area and supports our continuing development will wear this fantastic shirt!

As an added bonus, In the City Appreciation Day presented by Jefferson College of Health Sciences will take place again this year.  One this special day, June 20 – all those who purchased their In the City T-Shirt are invited to come out to Market Square to receive a FREE sundae compliments of The Little Dipper and enjoy live entertainment from 11:30 – 2:00 pm.  It’s our way of saying thank you for working downtown!
