Sean Luther
President and CEO

As the President & CEO of Downtown Roanoke, Inc., Sean C. Luther administers the Downtown Special Service District and oversees all aspects of DRI's mission to make Downtown Roanoke the preferred place to live, work and play.  Prior to joining DRI, Mr. Luther was the Economic Development Specialist at the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership working chiefly as the administrator of the Paris to Pittsburgh street activation program, the Market Square reactivation initiative, and the Office Recruitment and Retention Task Force.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA , Luther earned a BS from Clemson University in South Carolina and a Masters of Real Estate Development, also from Clemson.  Mr. Luther also holds a certification as an Economic Development Financial Professional from the National Development Council and is a member of the International Downtown Association and the Urban Land Institute.

Tina L. Workman
Vice President of Events and Operations

Tina Workman is the Vice President of Events/Operations for Downtown Roanoke Inc.  She is a native of Roanoke with a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Psychology with a minor in Technical Writing from Radford University.  

Matthew J. Klepeisz
Communications and Program Manager

Matthew Klepeisz is the Communications and Program Manager for Downtown Roanoke, Inc. He is responsible for the marketing efforts of DRI, including the website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. Matthew is from Yorktown, VA and earned his degree in Communications from Virginia Tech in May 2010 and moved to Roanoke directly from Blacksburg.

Tracie Hughes
Market Manager

Tracie Hughes is the Market Manager for the Historic City Market in downtown Roanoke. As Market Manager, Tracie is responsible for the day to day operation of the farmer’s market as well as the development of strategic and marketing plans to benefit the Historic City Market.

After graduating from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Tracie worked in Norfolk, VA as Marketing Coordinator for an arts’ advocacy organization. She describes herself as an urban-Appalachian girl who loves fresh local food, free camping and fall pumpkins. Come on down to the market to see what’s fresh and say hello to Tracie!
