Ari Hest is an urbane folk-rocker who has gained a following over the past decade with his acoustic guitar playing and sonorous baritone. He possesses a rich, smoky voice that makes it impossible to lose an audience.

Hest is a seasoned and professional performer, but his stage presence and delivery are as intimate as if he'd just written the song minutes prior. He has built his career the old fashioned way, doing 150 dates a year for the better part of the last decade.

Film and television has also expanded Ari’s fan base. His music has been licensed numerous times to shows such as Private Practice and One Tree Hill, and he scored the film Dreamriders, which won numerous independent film awards, and also featured several of Ari’s songs.
