The Fourth Annual Marginal Arts Parade

Pre-parade assembly/staging area will be at Community High School.

The Parade will march a route that will loop back to behind the Taubman Museum (Norfolk Ave & Market St S.E.) where The Absurdist Street Carnival will receive us.

London-based artist reciprocating on a project with a Roanoke-based artist in their space

10:00 – 6:00pm  Readings in LIMINAL alternative artspace at CHS

11:00 – 3:00pm  Large scale woodcuts PRINTED BY STEAMROLLER.

Noon – 12:30pm  Marginal Arts Festival Parade

12:30 – 3:00pm  Absurdist Carnival

10:00 – 3:00pm  Spectacular Saturday activities at the Taubman

3:00 – 5:00pm  Aristophanes “THE FROGS” at Community High School

5:30 – 6:00pm  Christine Carr introduces Roellof Bakker’s “Wanderlust”

 6:30 – 7:00pm  Be Blank Consort will be descending on the Noke for MAF!  Get your simultaneous poetry AND your avant-performance poetry fix in one socio-experimental alembic! Follow this Link.

7:30 – 9:00pm  Vaudeville Night at CHS organized by Josh Chapman,  an evening of live music by Another Roadside Attraction and the Big Nasty Jazz Band, plus additional entertainment before the show.
