Star City Poet’s Society: First Anniversary Poetry Show
Theme: A Year of Reflection
Join us Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Big Lick Brewery as the Star City Poet’s Society celebrates one year of poetic voices, stories, and community. This show includes 7 poets from Virginia and most are our own poets from the society. A list of their names will be posted shortly.
Schedule:
2:00 PM: Doors open for mingling, drinks, and connection.
3:00 PM sharp: The show begins, a curated closed mic event featuring seven poets, each sharing new and reflective works born from a year of growth and expression.
4:15–4:30 PM: Approximate end of performances (60–75 minutes).
After the show: Stay for book signings, conversation, and celebration with the poets.
Admission: Free to attend, all are welcome to raise a glass, listen deeply, and reflect on how far we’ve come.
