An undisputed expert in the fine art of making hit music, Jim Messina’s legacy of musical genius spans five decades, three super groups, a vibrant solo career and scores of producing and engineering credits. During their time together, Loggins & Messina released 8 hit albums and sold over 16 million albums. They became one of rock’s most successful recording duos ever having written and released some of the most recognizable chart topping songs, and with a slew of other songs recorded by other prominent artists. Now Jim tours the country with his band The Road Runners in support of their latest live album Here, There & Everywhere. Touring the country and playing sold-out shows, Jim says that he’s enjoying discovering who he is, where he’s been and, most significantly, where he’s going. His new book “Your Mama Don’t What?” and new studio album will be released in 2027.

Jim Messina will bring his music legacy to Shaftman Performance Hall at Jefferson Center in Roanoke, VA on Thursday, November 5th. www.jimmessina.com
