Meet author – and former Roanoke resident - James Dill Saturday, April 20 from 11 am to 1 pm at Book No Further. Dill's most recent novel Malone Ridge tells the coming-of-age story of a track star in Nitro, West Virginia, whose dreams of college are derailed by the every-day struggles of life in contemporary Appalachia. The Southern Literary Review compares Malone Ridge to the Pulitzer Prize-winning Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver.
