The Band:
We are so completely stoked to introduce you to Purple Madness! Yes fans - First Fridays is bringing the ultimate Prince tribute show to the streets of Downtown Roanoke!
Roanoke...Are You Ready...“Purple Madness” is the ultimate celebration of the most widely beloved entertainer and profoundly influential artist of all-time. Get ready to feel the electric energy, the iconic sound, and the unstoppable groove of Prince brought to life like never before! Front guy, Bobby Miller presents an electrifying performance with high energy, spot on vocals and musicianship - a truly “must see” performance. The Prince Purple Madness Tribute Show has all but perfected every last nuance in recreating the sights and sounds of the artist Prince.
The Prince Tribute Band was formed with great honor and utmost reverence. For anyone who wasn’t fortunate enough to have witnessed a Prince live show, the experience was undeniably one of the best live performances on the planet. It was with this idea in mind that Bobby chose to re-create some of Prince's most memorable concert moments. The team is backed by some of the most talented dancers and musicians that have toured the US and abroad. Collectively, they consist of over a 100 years of music experience. This is a performance that is second to none!
This high-energy production recreates the sights, sounds, and unforgettable stage presence of Prince. From Purple Rain to 1999, it’s a night of music that defined generations.

Open at 5:00PM. Tickets are purchased at the gate. Entry is just $10. Must be 21 or older to attend. No re-entry.
🍔Food:
We have delicious food for sale from Mountain Grille Food Truck. They offer a great menu in addition to non-alcoholic beverages.
Outside food and beverages are NOT permitted.
🅿️Event Parking Instructions:
Please park at the Williamson Parking Deck (free after 5:00pm) or anywhere in Downtown Roanoke that is convenient. We're a quick walk from the Downtown area to Franklin Road where all events are held.
🪑Seating:
Please bring your own chair, all bags are subject to search.

Beer, sangria, vodka seltzers, club cocktails and hard cider available for purchase. Our featured craft brewer rotates per event. We have domestic favorites as well. Stay tuned for more information on the featured craft brewer as the event gets closer.
