THE GREAT GINGERBREAD ESCAPE EXPERIENCE!!
Every December, the Gingerbread People come to life inside Kids Square. They love to explore, play and learn.
But this year…
A blustery WINTER WIND swept through Kids Square and blew the doors open. The Gingerbread People escaped and blew across all six floors of Center in the Square.
Now they’re hiding in plain sight, decorated by generous local businesses, just waiting for families to find them.
To help them return home on January 1st, families must:
🎄 Follow the clues
🔍 Solve the riddles
🎨 Complete the magical activity challenges
🔤 Collect all the secret letters
✨ Reveal the final holiday message
* Vote for your favorite Gingerbread
You will need a smartphone to participate!
Do all that…
and you’ll help send our Gingerbread back to Kids Square, where they’ll rest until next December.
This will become one of Roanoke’s newest holiday traditions, and your family is invited to be part of the very first year.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
PRE-REGISTRATION (Highly Recommended) It's the only guarantee your family will be able to participate.
Runs December 11–31
You may experience the adventure anytime Center in the Square is open. However, you must pick up The Great Gingerbread Experience packet during Kids Square business hours. Pre-registration guarantees your spot so that you can pick the day you want to participate in the experience, even if it's after Kids Square is closed.
Pick up hours at Kids Square:
🕙 Tuesday & Wednesday: 10 AM – 2 PM
🕙 Thursday – Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM
🕐 Sunday: 1 PM – 5 PM

It's only $15 for a family of 4 to participate.
