Join us to hear from Lauren Ellerman as she shares the inspiring story of how Turn the Page got started and the impact it is making in Roanoke.

Turn the Page is a non-profit aimed at creating free personal libraries for all children born in the City of Roanoke. The non-profit was founded by a passionate group of local women who are educators, doctors, lawyers, and moms. Turn the Page seeks to bridge the achievement gap in Roanoke by turning every child into a reader.

In addition to being a practicing attorney and mom to Maggie, Lauren Ellerman and her husband, Whit, own and run River and Rail Restaurant, Crystal Spring Grocery, and Cardinal Bicycle. Together they are a part of Roanoke's thriving economy.

This event is open to members, guests, and prospective members, but space is limited. Please register to reserve your ticket which will include a seated lunch, presentation, and networking in The Shenandoah Club's main dining room.
