Jake Dempsey is a Roanoke based bassist, producer, and contributor to Grammy-winning projects. Known for his deep pocket, improvisational instinct, and soul-forward stage presence, Jake has performed and recorded with artists such as Keller Williams, Oliver Wood, Isaac Hadden, and Jeff Sipe as well as currently holding down the low end of The Dead Reckoning, The Floorboards, Darkside Experience, and the Rooster Walk House Band.

One of VA's most experienced funky, worldly DJ duo Star City Soul Club has scoured the planet for the finest rare and familiar jams on vinyl for a combined half century.
