Roanoke Foundation for Downtown, Inc.

The Roanoke Foundation for Downtown, Inc. (RFDI) serves as a charitable fundraising arm to support the vital work and mission of Downtown Roanoke, Inc. (DRI.) We collaborate with a wide range of organizations and cultivate partnerships to shape public policy and implement programs that strengthen the economic vitality of downtown. You might be surprised by the projects and programs that RFDI has helped foster. Below are just a few of many stories about our historic past and ongoing mission to ensure Downtown Roanoke is the best place to live, work, and play.

RFDI helped create a unique program that increased downtown safety and engaged the community.

RFDI worked to help preserve three iconic downtown buildings owned by Norfolk Southern.

Over the years, RFDI has continued to postively impact Downtown Roanoke by working on beautification initiatives, saving the H&C Coffee sign, and spearheading wayfinding projects.

RFDI continues to work quietly, behind-the-scenes to positively impact Downtown Roanoke. You can help by contributing to RFDI's Beautification efforts.
