Kick off your morning with art, coffee, and a colorful celebration of the Taubman Museum of Art’s 75th anniversary.

During August’s Member Hour, members are invited to enjoy It’s a Party! Abstract Work from the Permanent Collection before the Museum opens to the public for the day.

Featuring bold colors, dynamic forms, and imaginative compositions, this lively exhibition highlights abstract works from the Taubman’s Permanent Collection, thoughtfully selected by Museum staff in honor of the Museum’s milestone anniversary.

Whether abstract art is a longtime favorite or a new discovery, Member Hour offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, take a closer look, and experience the exhibition in a relaxed, uncrowded setting.

Enjoy complimentary coffee while connecting with fellow Members and celebrating 75 years of bringing people and art together for discovery, learning, and enjoyment.
