Enjoy an afternoon of live music on the Taubman Museum’s “front porch” with Roanoke singer-songwriter Dan Carrell.

A familiar face on the region’s music scene, Carrell has been performing since his high school days. He is a founding member of the reggae-rock band Shorefire, which continues to perform throughout the region and has opened for nationally touring artists. He also performs as one half of the acoustic duo ¡Steele Y Dan!

Now stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Carrell is bringing audiences an intimate performance that showcases his heartfelt songwriting, expressive vocals, and honest storytelling. With his debut solo album on the horizon, his music blends a fresh sound with the vulnerability and authenticity that have long defined his lyrics.
