START your summer with creativity!
Designed for students who have completed Third Grade and up, Summer START: Line introduces young artists to one of the most powerful elements of art. Through hands-on activities, gallery exploration, and creative projects, students will learn how artists use something as simple as lines to bring ideas to life.
Each class begins with an engaging introduction to the day’s concept, followed by a visit to the galleries where students will discover real-world examples in works of art. Back in the classroom, they’ll put their new knowledge into practice by creating their own original artwork.
Led by an experienced art educator with more than 20 years of classroom teaching experience, Summer START provides a supportive, age-appropriate environment where students can build artistic skills, confidence, and creativity.
While students enjoy their class, parents and caregivers are welcome to explore the galleries or relax in the Glassroom.
Registration required.
