Event Information

What: Join our Downtown Roanoke retailers for end-of-season SAVINGS! Businesses will set up tables outside their stores, allowing you to check out the sales items and see what else they offer inside. We'll also have a few additional downtown retailers in Market Square

When: 10am - 5pm on Saturday, August 26th

Where: Along Market Street and the surrounding area in Downtown Roanoke, VA

Top Tips to Make the Most of Attending

Plan your Parking in Advance

Did you know that between street parking and lots and garages, downtown has 9,000 parking spaces? Some lots even offer free nights/weekends. Click here to view all of the available parking in Downtown. We recommend PARK Roanoke lots and garages because they usually have lower rates than privately owned parking.

Save Time for the Farmer's Market

The Historic Roanoke City Market is the oldest continuously operating open-air market in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It's open 7 days a week, but the busiest day is Saturday. This means Market Street will be packed with produce, plants, and arts & crafts vendors who all handmake or locally grow their products from 8am until 2pm.

Make a Day Out of It

You may come for the deals, but make a whole day of coming Downtown. If you aren't finished shopping, we have plenty of retailers. Virginia Made Saturday is the same day and you can shop local artisans and makers.

Downtown is packed with attractions like art galleries, museums, and music venues. Plus, there are a lot of events happening, including Roanoke Wing Fest at Dr Pepper Park and live music in the evening. Check out the full event calendar to view your options.
